Textile Origin: Tenango embroidery can be traced to the Pre-Aztec Meso American period with designs inspired by pre-historic wall paintings reflecting the traditions and beliefs of the Otomi people living in harmony with nature. Our Otomi textiles are sourced directly from our fair trade suppliers providing sustainable income for the Otomi women in this region, while cultivating and preserving their craft.
